Middle of the Week Blogoversary Giveaway Bash!

I posted on my real Blogoversay back on May 8th and I told you then we'd celbrate with some kind of party, so let's DO THIS THANG! I've thought long and hard about the best way to hold my Blog Party Giveaway Bash and in the end, it just didn't seem right to make everyone jump through a bunch of hoops to win a prize. I mean, we all have enough hoops to jump through in real life as it is, right? So let's just share some thoughts and experiences and enjoy the party!!
And who says we have to wait for the weekend to PARTAY! Boymom's 1st Anniversary Blog Party Starts Today!! There will be lots of fun and prizes, so come hang out with my blog for a few minutes throughout the rest of the week and let's chat about the things you like and dislike here at I Am Boymom, so I can work on making sure you wanna spend some time with me for another year!

First thing's first though, let's do a giveaway! I recently did a review about Drycleaner's Secret. The good folks from Woolite sent me 2 more kits to give away! So leave a comment about your worst drycleaning experience by Sunday, May 31st and we'll pick 2 random winners on Monday, June 1st! You can read about my worst experience with dryclean only clothes on the Drycleaner's Secret review if you are so inclined. For the record, it did not actually involve a drycleaner.

Then tune in tomorrow and we'll have a new giveaway! Whoo-hoo! I am in such a good mood right now and I have to say, it's been a while since I've felt this happy. Parties are good that way, aren't they? See ya tomorrow!

Worst dry cleaning experience...

I always put off my dry cleaning because its such a pain to take it, pick it up and pay for it. I think my least favorite visit was when my bill was $50+. That was no bueno. I was so excited to read your review because of how much easier and cheaper it sounds. So regardless of whether or not I win, I am going to be trying it!

happy blogoversary!

My worst dry-cleaning experience... when I had to explain to the woman behind the counter that my cat peed on my skirt. English wasn't her first language. How embarrassing to keep repeating that!

In my pre-kid days, I always thought that dry cleaning was such a pain. My worst experience involved me dropping off clothes and then my husband trying to pick them up without the claim ticket and it turning into a debacle of convincing the dry cleaner to give us our clothes back.

But really? The time, the cost, and then after I would get something back from the dry cleaners I never wanted to take it out of the bag and wear it again because then it would just sit in a pile waiting another 6 months before I got around to bringing anything in again. Now that I have a 5-month-old who spits up on me daily and a 2 1/2-year-old who wants me to sit in the sandbox or kneel in the dirt with her, anything that I own that says it should be dry cleaned is stuffed waaaay in the back of my closet. Just yesterday I was looking at a cute sweater wondering how I could wear it and get around having to bring it in to be dry cleaned after... I'm glad to have read your review because maybe Drycleaner's Secret can allow me to wear nice clothes again!

Thanks for the giveaway!

Aghhh, dry cleaning! The last time I took a good long winter coat to be dry cleaned, it didn't look any cleaner and one of the buttons was ruined. I'm looking forward to trying Dry Cleaner's Secret. Thanks.
