The stairs can be a good thing, and some days I remember that, but sometimes after the 91st trip, I start to forget.I Am Boymomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15325620257808590423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186268422460563799.post-82491777954232390552008-06-26T15:11:00.000-06:002008-06-26T15:11:00.000-06:00What is that delicious chocolate looking thing on ...What is that delicious chocolate looking thing on Kristi's comment? I personally like stairs, because it forces a form of exercise that I normally wouldn't do.That way I can eat a piece of whatever that is on Kristi's comment.HA!Bannerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18091836808303798157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186268422460563799.post-21066841258121116422008-06-25T22:31:00.000-06:002008-06-25T22:31:00.000-06:00omg ... And I am glad. Because like you, I hated it when I would step on legos, or toys that you just couldn't quite see in those corners. Plus I hated trying to sweep the dust bunnies out of the corners.Choppzshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15663221807255542735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186268422460563799.post-4700268159939901932008-06-24T07:40:00.000-06:002008-06-24T07:40:00.000-06:00We've always lived in a smaller place and I find t...We've always lived in a smaller place and I find that I feel more comfortable that way. We once house sat for someone with a large home in Arcadia and I was constantly yelling to try to find my kid and my husband - they were never anywhere to be found.

We thought about buying larger a few times over the years but I always felt so darn comfortable here. I love the neighborhood, love being close to downtown, etc.

But I get what you are saying about looking at those homes. It's hard not to be envious when you go in a home like that. It's easy to start imaging how great that would be.

Except I always start getting anxious worrying about how much debt those people are in who live in large homes, and how I would keep it clean even with a maid.

I try to focus on my wee little mortgage and then I feel content.Bandanamomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00022192424529851823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186268422460563799.post-21610957030177793492008-06-24T04:54:00.000-06:002008-06-24T04:54:00.000-06:00I hear you on the stairs...I hate them too. Those ...I hear you on the stairs...I hate them too. Those houses are gorgeous. So BIG. I would feel like I was living in a hotel. I'm constantly saying "Where's...?" here in my small house. I just know I would spend have the day trying to locate my kids in a house that size. lol!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07847975421658281750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186268422460563799.post-32829179121402131052008-06-24T02:25:00.000-06:002008-06-24T02:25:00.000-06:00Yeah - I laugh too when I start thinking about kee...Yeah - I laugh too when I start thinking about keeping up such big homes...and with kids no less! Pluss, I have a hard time spending that kind of money on ANYTHING! I can only handle about 2000 sq ft and do it with any kind of regularity. Actually, I'm lying. I really hate housework and my housecleaning skills leave a lot to be desired, but you can at least walk through the house most days and most of the toilet seats are clean, at least at one point during the day. AAUUGGHH!!!I Am Boymomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15325620257808590423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186268422460563799.post-61921050548367950532008-06-24T01:29:00.000-06:002008-06-24T01:29:00.000-06:0012,000 square foot home? That would be a freakin ...12,000 square foot home? That would be a freakin nightmare! For 9 million bucks, it better come with a maid AND a butler, AND a personal masseuse. I have to say, that I love to look at houses too, and then I have a reality check. I can literally vacuum my whole house from one plug. It is AWESOME...all 1490 square feet of it. I am with you...I HATE stairs, probably because I despise exercising, but I live on a nice small ranch style home. I do have one step in the front of the house, and that is exhausting sometimes. heh heh. :)Kristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05605783419298332251noreply@blogger.com
